About
About Cargo Cables
Cargo Cables is a practical guide to the wiring on equipment that moves freight.
Who publishes it
Cargo Cables is published by Aerotier Manufacturing LLC, a wire harness, cable assembly and electromechanical manufacturer in Berlin, Connecticut. Aerotier is in start-up and open for RFQs for transport, automotive, aerospace and defense work. Its current certification position is stated plainly on Aerotier's quality page.
Aerotier's sister company Cargovate builds the platform that keeps a single record of custody for freight, and the maintenance history of the equipment that carries it. Both are Vexidus Corporation companies.
How the guidance is written
- Standards are named and summarised for orientation. For anything contractual, read the current published edition.
- Equipment makers' documentation takes precedence over general guidance, especially for pin assignments, plug types and approved parts.
- Electrical installation work, such as depot reefer supplies, belongs with a qualified electrician working to local regulations.
